Williamsburg and Aunt Ash and Uncle Peter Day 1

Day 1: Drive 4 hours to Williamsburg and meet up with the fam in Colonial Williamsburg. Jake and Allie and baby Liv came down too and we spent the rest of the afternoon just walking around and stretching our legs and playing "baseball" with an apple because we didnt have baseballs. Playing in rocks, throwing leaves, and saying hello to the cows. All things wonderful that you can do in the fall in such a beautiful place.

Hiking with Na-Nee, Micah, and Peter

So since I've been trying to really enjoy this beautiful fall weather, my friend Renee and her son Micah found a great little park that starts at an acquestrian center and then follows a trail through a forest to a little river. Perfect length for the kids but its for reals hiking on a trail in the woods with dirt and leaves and animals... It was such a wonderful morning out. And again, just more throwing rocks in the water. It doesnt get any better then that I guess :)

I like Claire's muddy pants. She faced it first thing but trooped on anyway.
